MISSION STATEMENT
THE JURISPRUDENCE INSTITUTE FOR SPORTS, ENTERTAINMENT, AND SOCIAL JUSTICE and Public Policy Research, known simply as the Jurisprudence Institute (JI), is an independent Think Tank based in Washington, D.C. Its public policy research is dedicated to issues that affect and impact sports, entertainment, social justice, government, economics and social welfare.
Founded in 2018, the JI’s stated mission is to defend the principles, integrity, and fairness of those individuals who are members of the sports, entertainment, and social justice community, and to improve relations through our services between the institutions and organizations to which the members of these professions and citizens of American society are a part of.
The JI is an independent, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization supported primarily by grants and contributions from foundations, corporations, and individuals.
Timothy Bracey has served as President of the JI since January 2018.
WE WILL CONDUCT DILIGENT RESEARCH OF PUBLIC POLICY THAT IMPACTS OUR BASE, (SPORTS, ENTERTAINMENT, & SOCIAL JUSTICE SEEKERS) AND OFFER STRONG ADVOCACY ON BEHALF OF OUR CONSTITUENTS THEREIN.
